Scientific Research Translation
Academic papers, research manuscripts, journal submissions, lab reports, grant applications, and scientific review documents translated to publication standard.
About this service
Scientific translation has one test: can the paper pass a journal review without the reviewers commenting on the quality of the English. That is a different standard from being technically accurate or grammatically correct. It means the paper must read as if it was written by a fluent academic who is a native speaker of the target language and who knows the conventions of the target journal and discipline. We translate papers for submission to Nature, Science, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and other international journal groups. We handle all scientific disciplines including biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, marine science, environmental science, medicine, and clinical research. Each paper is handled by a translator with a background in the relevant field. Marine biology does not go to a chemist. Environmental science does not go to a physicist. Where a paper has multiple sections that cross discipline boundaries, we coordinate between specialists. We also translate grant applications for European funding bodies including the European Research Council and Horizon Europe, which require a specific register and format.
