Print translation has a format dimension that digital translation does not. The translated text must fit the same physical space as the source. German text runs approximately 30% longer than English for equivalent meaning. Arabic is right-to-left. Japanese may require a different typographic approach entirely. We work alongside your design team or directly in your provided InDesign, Illustrator, or PDF source files. The Desktop Publishing (DTP) element of brochure translation involves fitting translated text into the existing layout without breaking the design grid. For languages that run significantly longer than the source, we work with your design team to agree where space can be recovered. We translate corporate brochures, product and service catalogues, exhibition materials, annual reports, press kits, investor presentations, packaging copy, and any other print-format content. For languages requiring a non-Latin script such as Arabic or Japanese, we coordinate typesetting support alongside the translation.
